Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson, 1st Viscount Nelson, 1st Duke of Bronte (1758 - 1805), to give him his full title was one of Englands most famous naval leaders. HIs career was unprecedented, culminating in his defeat of the combined French and Spanish navies at Trafalgar in 1805, where he tragically died.
