Pipistrelle
£125.00
A graphic study of the European pipistrelle—arguably the most familiar bat across Europe. At twilight, they appear as fleeting gestures in the sky: sharp, erratic, almost too quick to register. First, a doubt—was that a bird? Then another flicker, then several more, and the uncertainty dissolves. It is a bat. They occupy that threshold between seen and unseen, their movement defined more by absence than presence. Elusive and nocturnal, yet quietly dependable, they return each evening as if stitched into the fabric of dusk. There is a tension in their form—at once delicate and unsettling—where beauty and unease coexist in equal measure.
