The VW - Tower in Hanover, Germany. Completed in 1959 it originally served as a communications tower but was purchased in 2000 by Volkswagen. This provided an opportunity for a huge advertisement in the shape of the VW logo. Due to extremely large maintenance and refurbishment costs however, VW has decided to sell the tower. The logo has been removed and the tower may be demolished.
