Cropped at the neck, the figure withholds her expression, and the image is charged by what it leaves unseen. We are left to imagine her gaze, as if she has been caught mid-thought. Light moves across her skin with the glaze-like sheen of ceramic, tracing the line of her ribs and waist before settling in a single small highlight at the navel. Her hand rests at her hip, her hair falling loose, the stillness of a body that seems about to move.

From the series "Cinematic Conversations" in which the subject is free to do as they wish. The photographer offers gentle direction — guiding poses, suggesting pauses, asking the sitter to remain still, or to shift ever so slightly. Expressions are proposed rather than imposed: boredom, fatigue, detachment. Each suggestion subtly alters the presence of the sitter, revealing how mood alone can transform an image. Roles are hinted at, never named; the subject interprets, absorbs and reflects them in their own way.
