Porcelain XVI
£215.00
Porcelain XVI - A black and white nude study examining the sculptural qualities of the human form - its textures, tones, and the shifting dialogue between light and shadow.
From the series "Cinematic Conversations" in which the subject is free to do as they wish. The photographer offers gentle direction — guiding poses, suggesting pauses, asking the sitter to remain still, or to shift ever so slightly. Expressions are proposed rather than imposed: boredom, fatigue, detachment. Each suggestion subtly alters the presence of the sitter, revealing how mood alone can transform an image. Roles are hinted at, never named; the subject interprets, absorbs and reflects them in their own way.
