For a short time in 2023, an enormous and striking figure of the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama - rising to some 15 metres in height - stood opposite the headquarters of Louis Vuitton in Paris, France. Photographed here in black and white against the afternoon sun, the monumental form appears both commanding and ephemeral — a theatrical silhouette set against the glow of the city, where scale, shadow, and spectacle converge.
