An architectural study of five adjoining houses in the northern French town of Arras. They stand along Place des Héros, one of two magnificent adjoining squares in the town, linked by a short thoroughfare of around 150 yards to the Grand Place. The façades display classic Flemish architecture - a style more often associated with the Netherlands and Belgium - here lending Arras its distinctive character.
