Architectural photograph of The Louvre Museum in Paris, France. Probably the most famous museum in the world, It first opened as a museum in 1793.  This is a view of one of the elegant colonnades, the understated stonework creating a mood of timeless grandeur.

This photograph was made in 2010 on a large format (4" x 5") view camera on film.
