Paper Porcelain is the name given to this medium-sized vase by the Danish design brand HAY. Designed by Scholten & Baijings, its distinctive geometric form draws inspiration from cardboard, cut and folded to create a structure subsequently realised in off-white porcelain.

Photographed in monochrome and viewed from below, the vase reveals its underlying geometry. Directional lighting emphasises the contours and subtle surface textures, while the interplay of light and shadow accentuates the precision of its construction.

This example measures 153 mm in height and 100 mm in width.
