The Double – Like identical twins, yet with subtle distinctions, this sepia-toned black-and-white image invites a closer look at the nuances that set them apart.

From the series "Cinematic Conversations" in which the subject is free to do as they wish. The photographer offers gentle direction — guiding poses, suggesting pauses, asking the sitter to remain still, or to shift ever so slightly. Expressions are proposed rather than imposed: boredom, fatigue, detachment. Each suggestion subtly alters the presence of the sitter, revealing how mood alone can transform an image. Roles are hinted at, never named; the subject interprets, absorbs and reflects them in their own way.
