Perhaps the most iconic building in the world, and certainly one of the most recognisable pieces of architecture known to humanity.

These three studies take the familiar view of the Eiffel Tower from the Trocadéro, looking across the Seine, and reinterpret it through colour, atmosphere and repetition. The almost identical composition allows the character of the tower itself to become the constant, while everything around it shifts.

Warm amber, muted green and cool blue create three distinct moods — day, night and something in between. The softness and subtle distortion of the tower give the images an almost dreamlike quality, moving them away from a straightforward architectural record and towards something more abstract.

Together, the three panels explore how a single, universally recognisable structure can appear remarkably different when colour, light and atmosphere are allowed to take centre stage.

The Eiffel Tower remains unmistakable, yet each study offers a different interpretation of this enigmatic masterpiece.
